Linking Your Video Tours to Your Listings on REALTOR.com®
Note: Effective March 14th, 2006 Homestore has eliminated the fee for linking your Video Tours to your listings on Realtor.com for all Realtors who have paid REALTOR.com® for their Showcase Listing Enhancement service.
Homestore operates Realtor.com, and they have a fee-per-listing service called PicturePath which is designed to enhance your listings through virtual tours. This fee currently is $22.95 PER TOUR for this service. VideoTourCompany.com will collect the fee and pass it along to Homestore as it is their policy to charge for this service only through approved virtual tour companies. VideoTourCompany.com is one of these approved companies. This service is completely optional on each of your listings.
It is however, important to enhance your listings with as much exposure on the internet as possible. Over 80% of buyers are searching homes on the web and REALTOR.com® is a premier search site for buyers. Buyers will search for homes and choose first those listings that read "Display listings with virtual tours first”. Those listings will show the ”red spinning house” as it appears below. Your visibility is at least 40% greater with a virtual tour. With a video tour through VIDEOTOURCOMPANY.COM, it will be even greater.
